Clearwater brings the best of Offshore Powerboat Racing’s teams and fans to their city and beaches for a weekend of entertainment.

Race day sees 50,000 people and over 2,500 boats lining the beaches of the 2.5-mile-long race course with fireworks, parties, parades and much more.

Many beach-going spectators enjoy the races from Clearwater Beaches on the white sugar sand, while others take advantage of the VIP watch parties from the comfort of sponsor hotels, restaurants and condos.

Friday, Sept. 23

• Rooftop VIP Party, 6 to 9 p.m.

  • Purchase VIP tickets to meet the race teams and special guests for autographs and photos. Drink adult beverages and listen to local favorite, The Black Honkeys Band.

• Shephard's Kick-Off Party, 8 p.m. to close

  • Pay a cover charge or use your VIP pass to listen to a live band or dance to the DJ.

Saturday, Sept. 24

• RWO Testing, 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  Clearwater Beach

  • View the super boats practice and test their racing skillls by the water in the Gulf or from the beach.

• Sunsets at Pier 60 Sunset Celebration hosted by Pier 60 Concessions, 6 to 9 p.m.

  • Celebrate the sunset, shop from local vendors and watch live entertainment for free.

• Shephard's VIP Party, 8 p.m. to close.

Sunday, Sept. 25

• Power Boat Race, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Races begin at 10 a.m., 11:30 p.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. (subject to change)

  • Multiple classes per race

  • Some races may have two starts

  • Viewing from Pier 60 entry begins at 9:30 a.m. Pier viewing tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for children and are available on-site for purchase.

  • No chairs or coolers are allowed on the pier.

• Race Party and Awards Ceremony, 6 to 8 p.m.
  Marina Cantina, 25 Causeway Blvd

  • Event open to the public, free

  • Award presentation begins at 6 p.m.

• Shephard's Largest Post-Race Beach Party, 4 p.m. to close

  • Listen to live music and enjoy the beach.
